This wine captures the spirit of Cafayate’s renowned high-altitude terroir, where vineyards thrive at 1,700 meters above sea level in Argentina’s northwest. The region’s dramatic temperature variations, dry climate, and sandy, stony soils create the perfect environment for producing wines with vibrant aromatics and exceptional balance.
Fermented in stainless steel tanks and aged for 12 months in fourth-use barrels, this wine showcases a delicate integration of oak that enhances rather than overpowers its natural character.
With a bright cherry red color, on the nose the notes of black fruits, cassis, blackberries, blueberries and notes of liquorice, the spices stand out. On the palate it is presented as a powerful, full-bodied wine with a refreshing acidity. Balanced and elegant, it is a Cabernet Sauvignon that demonstrates the potential of the Cafayate Valley. Best serve at 16°-18° Recommended aging: 10 years maximum.
