This limited edition of Petit Verdot is a selection of barrels from our Finca Cobos, located at 960 meters above sea level, in Agrelo, Luján de Cuyo, Mendoza. A vineyard with deep, clayey loam soil. Soils with good water retention, which allows a balanced growth of the plant. Cool climate, which favors obtaining a concentrated wine, intense color and aromatic. The grapes for this wine have been harvested and later selected by hand. Aged in oak barrels for 12 months.
Our L.E Petit Verdot has a very bright, concentrated ruby red color, almost garnet. Its aromatic profile is herbal, where mint, menthol and eucalyptus play a key role; then we find fruits and spices. On the palate, it has present and silky tannins, with a long finish. It is recommended with spicy, smoked and flavorful foods. Best serve at 16°-18° Recommended aging: maximum 5 years.
